Sunday afternoon at the movies!

One of the special attractions of Ojai, a unique community some 75 miles from Hollywood, is the series of handpicked independent films shown on Sunday afternoons. An Ojai tradition for 20 years, these screenings represent the best the industry has to offer. Many have won their share of awards, and most are films rarely seen in small town theaters.

These Sunday afternoon movies – from Oscar-nominated films like No Country for Old Men and La Vie en Rose, to foreign films and documentaries – offer entertainment and intellectual stimulation for all tastes. The Band’s Visit - The Ojai Film Society announces a change in their Spring 2008 screening schedule. The film, Band's Visit, scheduled for Sunday, June 15 will be rescheduled to Sunday, June 29 at 4:30 pm. due to renovation at the Ojai Playhouse.
